Most families have two unresolved problems they rarely talk about. The first is practical: insurance policies, accounts, documents, and passwords that only one person knows — until an emergency forces everyone to find out. The second is personal: the stories, lessons, and words that were never captured, and can't be retrieved once someone is gone.

Milestones was built to address both. In a single guided session, we help families get organized and get their stories on record — before life makes it urgent.

Milestones started with a conversation my wife and I had about our son. We realized he had no idea what to do if we never came home — he didn't even know we had a life insurance policy. Two people who care deeply about their family, and we'd never once sat down to get any of it organized.

Around the same time, we lost my wife's mother to cancer — too quickly, and without enough time to capture what mattered. There were no recorded messages, no letters. My wife still wishes she had more of her mother's words.

Those two moments are why Milestones exists. Families who have worked hard and loved deeply deserve to leave something behind — both the practical details that protect the people they love, and the personal stories that keep them present.

Each session is 90 minutes, guided by a facilitator. The result is a professionally printed binder — organized, personal, and built to last.
